About

The Hagen-Kavanagh School of Irish Dance was founded in 1999 by Jean Hagen Duffy A.D.C.R.G. to promote Irish culture and heritage through dance. The school welcomes dancers of all ages and levels of commitment, from the recreational dancer to the serious competitor.

The Hagen-Kavanagh School is directed by Jean Hagen Duffy, A.D.C.R.G. and Tara Kavanagh Ryan, T.C.R.G. which means they are certified adjudicators/teachers by Chomhdhail na Muinteoiri le Rinci Gaelacha Teoranta in Ireland, otherwise known as An Chomhdhail.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Hagen-Kavanagh School is to preserve and expand the beautiful art form and wonderful tradition of Irish dance in a supportive and respectful way. Friendship and team spirit is stressed as the dancers work hard and are challenged to do their best not only by their instructors, but also by their classmates. All of us at the H-K School are dedicated to encouraging and inspiring each dancer who walks through our doors to reach their fullest potential in dance, school, and their community
